No. As an employer you keep your legal duty to check identity. The Passport gives you verified evidence to do that faster, and a record of when it was checked.
No. It doesn't check criminal records or references unless your workflow adds that step.
Each line carries a date. Certificates show their expiry, and anything expired shows as open again.
The candidate. They can take it to their next job, and you keep the record of your own hiring decision.
